Wildfires 02:43
Deep in the Night of the Soul Burns the wildfires of the one who was. As the torch falls in the springs of Man, May he forever drink of the poison. I speak with his voice, O how He beckons. The fires within Devour my heart. (Deep) in the Night of the Soul Carves a path through the flesh and bone. As the torch falls in the springs of Man, May he forever drink of the poison. I gaze through his eyes, O how He lingers. The broken pieces Drifting downwards. A hand from beyond, Opens the door. The fires within Devour my heart.

My 19th Sun 04:29
A once tall looming tower Toppled across my path The ruins now lie behind me As the clouds roll fading past A glaring moon rose sharply To speak a last curse from the skies The hounds bay my approach As the veil fell from my eyes Longest is the shadow Cast by the brightest light Darkest is the hour In the moments before dawn Highest grow the flowers Sown by the light of the moon (From) the blackest starry corner Shines the face of the Sun By the burning rays of daylight I swear a becoming oath Borne between the crosses Riding a pale white horse I stood upon a strange land Where the day plays tricks at night A beacon from the zenith As my heart absorbed the light Longest is the shadow Cast by the brightest light Darkest is the hour In the moments before dawn Highest grow the flowers Sown by the light of the moon (From) the blackest starry corner Shines the face of the Sun

Waxing Moon 06:07
Rise in the midst of madness Clashing light into the darkness Drawn down to churn the tides Perplex and ignite the skies Shine down with scorn on my path Reflect the Light that lies out of grasp Provoke the child inside To evoke the wilder side Eclipse and renew the night Show your face to second sight This year of tribulation Will beckon the approaching Sun Oppose the one that is the other I am son to the cruelest mother A vision of a burning flame As I stare you stare back again One of three is she whom we are under A mystery of lunacy asunder Prey upon my prayers to impart Piercing arrows sent to rend my heart Fixed eyes upon the blackness To obscure my sight of the joyless Light the torches to reveal the way Right this endless night of death & decay Betray the One left to reign in the brightness Grant us see with the eyes of the sightless In chains your blood flows as wine To return us to the crackling divine Guide the way towards the one source Placing fate in the hands of the reigning force Illuminate the shadows of the mind As I wait in a non-existent time

Our Time 06:20
Stalking the ghost of these old memories In unknown places I've been before Walking through familiar halls such as these With unknown faces I've seen before Twisting upward through the years The clock strike sings a tolling song Turning downward in reflecting gaze The shadows trail and dance along Yesteryear is still quite clear Though our time will stop as we see what came before The future is bright but it's not quite right Though our time will pass and we'll know what lies beyond As the sound of church bells ring The hour for the gallows to swing, History repeats on an endless plane, and the will doesn't mean a thing Yesteryear is still quite clear Though our time will stop as we see what came before The future is bright but it's not quite right Though our time will pass and we'll know what lies beyond Lifting fog rise from my path And its mysteries remain untold. Clutching fear grasp beneath the shade For the center cannot hold Yesteryear is still quite clear Though our time will stop as we see what came before The future is bright but it's not quite right Though our time will pass and we'll know what lies beyond Yesteryear is still quite clear Though our time goes on as we pull ourselves away The future is bright but it's not quite right Though our time repeats as we go on our own way

For we have the eyes to see And we have the ears to hear When the mouth of the ages speaks the words I cast out all fear Where the sands of time fall slow, The thin white hand must reap and sow Hear the song of the trumpets blow As we step through where we all must go In the comforts of the Night We await the break of dawn In a flash of unseen blinding light We can see forever on For we know the words to speak And the motions we have learned When the grain through the glass completes the course The pyres start to burn Where the sands of time fall slow, The thin white hand must reap and sow. Hear the song of the trumpets blow As we step through where we all must go Turn back to the valley and know. We descend down to the banks below Where the boatman waives his fee, And we set sail on the final sea

about

"A spark can glow the brightest when submerged in the deepest darkness. A flicker can act as a furnace in the bitterest cold. Truth lies in its opposite. The value of suffering. But remember: you are just a visitor in the Abyss."

The flickers of Wildfires were fanned into a blaze the summer of 2017, but smoldered long before. With forests afire in British Columbia, the profundity of razing to build anew hit me with extreme potency. At the time, several years had been spent in the depths of an extended Saturn's Return. The chaos and revelry had subsided and I found myself deep in a personal abyss. The time had come to finally cross it.

The value behind submerging into one's underworld lies in the elixir of wisdom brought back. This collection of recordings captured over the Tarot years of The Star, The Moon, and The Sun revealed a depth to the spiritual roadmap that I had been following for nearly a decade. It is my desire to see the dawn's light again. It is my attempt to build anew on the ashes.

So while the world is burning again in many ways, it seems timely to release these potent recordings on a liminal day as we transition away from the year's Light and embrace the reflection of harvest and decay. May this minute glimmer provide some hope in these turbulent times.

about

Tithe Vancouver, British Columbia

Reawakening in 2020 after over a decade, TITHE conjures a raw and haunting dark folk, exploring the hidden, inmost essence. Extracting inspiration from World Serpent's glory days and the lush largesse of 2000s neofolk luminaries, Tithe has traversed the Abyss to transmute the bloody ashes of the past into a fresh vision of Spiritual gold. ... more
